Instrument Drive
Teague Band Hall - Music store that comes to our band hall.
Students and Parents will have an opportunity to come to the Band Hall and purchase an instrument, a book, and/or any other supplies that your child may need. We do this as a service for the community for students that wish to purchase their own horn.
The company we use is called The Band Wagon (817-583-0001) out of Ft. Worth.
This company offers a rent-to-own type of payment plan where you can make small monthly payments, as low as $20-30.00 dollars.
They also sell Essential Elements 2000(Method Book) your child will need for band; mouth pieces, cleaning kits, music stands, and any other instrument accessories, will be available at the drive as well.
If you already have an instrument, please bring it to the band hall at the time of this event, for inspection. Oftentimes, used instruments need some minor repairs and this company can assist you with that.
We highly encourage everyone to attend the instrument drive and at least talk to the company. Brass players are encouraged to purchase their own mouthpiece if possible. Larger instruments such as French Horns, Baritones, and Tubas will be provided by the school. We do have school instruments available if needed.
During the year your child will perform in two concerts here at the school. One concert will take place in December and the other will be held in May.
In addition, the band performs at PinStack in Dallas, where a judge critiques and awards their performance.
